Have fun, taste, enjoy! One person can be the ‘Sommelier’ wine steward and the other, ‘Wine Taster'. Each person assumes the character they want to choose.
I pooled the talents of both grandparents into a fictional story on wine tasting and producing wine as an entertaining way for people to realize the diligence it takes to make quality wines and to appreciate the flavors through tasting. It’s also a story about the hardships immigrants endured coming by ship to Ellis Island and then going through customs to find a better world.
My mother’s father was a tall man and earned a living as a carpenter. He also raised animals, maintained a garden and made wine for personal consumption.

My grandfather on my father’s side was short, barely five feet tall, and worked as a baker, making Italian bread for a company in New York City.

Both of my grandparents endured the miseries of the voyage to Ellis Island and disembarked in New York City to seek a better life.

Let us not forget, “God Bless America!”

Besides wine tasting and making wine, this story will also take you back to the nostalgic life of the early nineteen-hundreds.

The reader will keep turning pages until the very end. Although these stories are science fiction, the author believes that the human race can obtain most of what is enclosed in these episodes. It will take many years and a united world working for the good of humanity, science, and the environment to make it happen. “We will be leaving your universe, and you will penetrate another dimension in time,” Alexis said. “This is beyond physics known in your world. We are about to enter a wormhole, which is a tube made of space-time that connects two different regions. This funnel tapers down to what is known as a throat. The exit can be partially pinched; however, hopefully we will connect to another funnel. You will then become transposed again, to pure energy and subatomic particles known as photons and electrons, what your scientists would call, quantum tunneling. If you survive, you will exit and enter our galaxy. We must avoid the black holes, as nothing escapes from them.”
